Our People

Our Account Managers are the driving force within Network Services, ensuring that publishers remain our central focus by understanding their requirements and delivering on agreed contractual targets. Consultation, participation, advice and feedback exemplify our relationship with publishers.

Our Account Managers are circulation specialists who research and apply market intelligence to predict market behaviour. It is their responsibility to drive sales and profitability for the publications they manage.

Systems and Reporting

Network Services uses proprietary and third party systems allowing us to underpin the decision making process, these include: Network Services' MJ operating system, CDIS data warehouse, AC Nielsen Scan Data, customer scan data, Audit Bureau Circulation, Census Data and Morgan Readership.

Utilising profoundly intelligent allocation systems allow the full spectrum of micro to macro management of the customer and title base. Efficient supply benefits everyone from publishers to retailers and of course, us. Understanding how we determine our retailer supply is a significant advantage to all members of the supply chain.

Comprehensive reporting tailored to customer requirements is provided by our investment in the ‘Circulation and Distribution Information System’ (CDIS) data warehouse and reporting tool, which is also available for direct access from offsite locations.

Our open system platforms allow accessibility from the publisher's nominated location and is flexible to any business model. Network Services promise secure data management and confidentiality.

Network Services Books Division

Distribution is a crucial element of a book publisher's marketing mix in order to ensure good customer relations and business growth.

Network Services Books Division was launched in July 2003 to distribute books into the newsagency channel and other retail outlets in line with Network Services' standard distribution channels.

Our goal is to offer timely, accurate circulation advice to grow and improve sales efficiency for books in the Australian marketplace.

Representing over 30 book publishers in Australia, the key objective of the division is to drive sales of product into the newsagent channel. Book publishers identified a need to grow exposure into newsagents, and our three deliveries a week service meets this need.

Offering a specialist suite of services for Book Publishers, it is headed up at Group Business Management level by a team of an Account Manager, Business Development Executive and Allocation Analyst. Consultation, participation, advice and feedback exemplify our relationship with publishers.
